Shin-ichi Aoqui was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1957. He received the B.S. degree from the Department of Applied Physics, University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, and the M.S. degree from the University of Tsukuba, Tsukuba, Japan, in 1983, and the Ph.D. degree from Kumamoto University, Kumamoto, Japan, in 2000.,Since 1997, he has been an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Engineering, Kumamoto Institute of Technology (in 2000, change of name to Sojo University), Kumamoto. From 2001 to 2002, he was a Visiting Professor with the Department of Condensed Matter Physics, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. Since 2007, he has been a Professor with the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Sojo University. His current research interest includes plasma and discharge phenomenon and material sciences and also interested in bioscience and agriculture based on plasma to agriculture in the next generation. His research interests include plasma and discharge phenomena, material sciences, and applications of plasma in bioscience and agriculture for the next generation. |
