Krzysztof Kluszczyński - Polish electrical engineer, professor of technical sciences, full professor of Silesian University of Technology and Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology, rector of the College of Mechatronics in Katowice from 2005 to 2007.

In 1973, he graduated from the Electrical Department of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He defended his doctoral dissertation there in 1978, while he received his postdoctoral degree in 1986 based on his work entitled Parasitic Moments in Asynchronous Machines. He received the title of professor of technical sciences on March 29, 1996, and specializes in the theory of electrical machines. He is the author of about 300 publications.

From 1973 to 2017 he was affiliated with the Silesian University of Technology, where he reached the position of full professor. In 1980-1981, he was deputy director of the Institute of Electrical Machines and Equipment, while in 1990-1993 he served as vice-dean of the Electrical Faculty[1]. In 1999, he established the Department of Mechatronics, which in 2006 was transformed into the Department of Mechatronics under his leadership. In October 2017, he took up the position of full professor at Tadeusz Kosciuszko Cracow University of Technology[5]. At the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at PK, he became head of the Institute of Automation and Electrical Traction.

In 1999 he became chairman of the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Electrical Engineering, and in 2002 he became a member of the Committee on Electrical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

He received the silver and 1998 the gold Cross of Merit in 1994. In 2012, he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland for outstanding achievements in scientific and research work and teaching activities, for his contributions to the development of science.
