Prof. Agnieszka Łękawa-Raus, an accomplished researcher associated with the Warsaw University of Technology.

Prof. Łękawa-Raus holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology. Her research journey has been marked by a deep interest in carbon nanotubes and their applications.  She has made significant contributions to the field of carbon nanotube fibers. Prof. Łękawa-Raus investigates electrical properties, piezoresistive effects, and resistance-temperature dependencies in these fibers. Her work bridges theory and experimentation, aiming to develop practical applications. She explored the possibility of replacing copper wires with carbon nanotube wires in electrical transformers, highlighting their potential advantages1.

Prof. Łękawa-Raus also studied superhydrophobic carbon nanomaterial coatings on wood. Her collaborations span institutions like the University of Cambridge and CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). Prof. Łękawa-Raus’s work impacts fields such as electrical engineering, materials science, and composites.
